Polishing The fragments

When God shatters your life, what is there left to do?
Life in all of it's complexities.
We leave the past but are never free.
Still there are the daily demands.
We must move on.
Overcoming the struggle.
So what does one do with a shattered life?
The answer of course is simple.
To make the best of what you have.
To learn from where you have been.
To bravely face the future.
Polishing the fragments.
These are poems of my broken whole.
And a bold declaration.
Of never to surrender.
As the stars spread in the heavens.
So am I.
